One Month!

Max is one month old! Clint and I have survived our first month of parenthood and, more importantly, Max has survived! During his first month Max has accomplished and experienced the following:

• Holding his head up while on his stomach & raising his chest supported by his arms
• Pushing up on his legs
• Briefly holding his head steady when upright
  
• Making cooing sounds like 'ah ah ah ah,' 'Gah,' and other babelings
• Peeing on: 2 nurses, bed sheets (twice), Mom (three times), in the bath tub, and numerous clean diapers that had not actually been put on him yet
• His first: bath, trip to the doctor, trip to the mall, walk in the park, nail trim
  
• Taking his first road trip to Houston-yay for 4 hours in the car with minimal screaming!
  
• Attending his first wedding (Max has a new Uncle, Adam!)

And after all that...

Max is pooped (and Clint is still a little crazy)!
