Max is 2 weeks old today. We went in for our second appointment with Dr. Ramirez, and this time, Max got to show off his lungs. This visit they did the second heel stick for more blood testing, which you might guess he did not like one bit (they do a ridiculous amount of blood tests for newborns...sheesh. I think it's more to test the parents' mettle.). Max's monstrous weight gain has slowed a bit. He weighed in at 10 lbs, 10 oz. and is 22 inches long. He is in the 90th percentile for both height and weight, but only the 50th for head size (looks like he didn't get ALL the Jurek traits!). Also, Max has decided to let me sleep at night (hallelujah!). Obviously, not a full night, but he has quit screaming from 11 PM-7 AM and started napping. This has made for a much happier Mom, and many fewer panicked calls to Dad at work in the middle of the night!

If he were Sleeping, it would be great...that night, he was not.
